Stop press: Morris Dancing at the Tally !

Hello subscriber,

Sorry for the short notice, but we've just heard that Dartington Morris Men are hosting the 343rd meeting of the Morris Ring over the weekend of the 5th-7th September.  On Saturday 6th the 14 Morris sides attending the meeting will split up into four groups and tour various parts of South Devon, stopping frequently to dance. One of those places that one of those tours will stop and dance at is the Tally Ho.

Each of the three or four sides visiting the Tally will perform one or more dances, and the whole event should last 30-45 minutes.  You can find more details here.

And if Morris dancing isn't really your thing, then we've also found out that steam trains will be passing the Tally on Friday 5th, Sunday 7th and Monday 8th of September.  The Atlantic Coast Express passes on Friday on its way to Penzance, The Royal Duchy passes twice on Sunday going to and from Par, and the Atlantic Coast Express returns past the Tally on Monday (when, sadly, we're closed).  More details, including times are on our website's What's on page.

Cheers,

Littlehempston Community Pub Ltd.
