Awesome August

Hello subscriber,

The Tally Beer Garden is proving a popular place this summer, so come and enjoy a cool beer under the parasols. Tenner Tuesdays are still proving popular and The Kitchen Table makes a very welcome return on BBQ Sunday, 19th August.

How many people does it take to light a BBQ?

Find out who won the Come Dine with Us competition and more - in Panic, a winner and Sunday BBQ’s on our website.

What connects Singapore, bronze and the Tally?

Can you help?

If you've got a spare hour or two this month, we'd love to see you down the Tally, especially between Tuesday 7th and Sunday 19th, when chef Paul goes on a very well deserved break. If you can spare an hour any morning to help with the cleaning or any lunchtime or evening to help front of house, please get in touch (see below). And have a great holiday, Paul. You deserve it!

Dates for your diary

Tuesday 7th August and every Tuesday: Ten Pound Tuesday Two course meal at a great price.

Sunday 19th August: Sunday BBQ - a great way to finish the weekend! Tasty food from The Kitchen Table.

Sunday 2nd September is the first Sunday of the month, so we'll be Singing for Fun from 8pm - everyone welcome. Like steam trains? Why not come early around 7.30pm and watch The Royal Duchy steam past?

Cheers,
