Written and devised by Valerie Belsey, this play with music is about those who did and those who didn’t return from the Great War, in particular those from Littlehempston. It is produced and directed by Jane Sandoz from the Totnes Youth Theatre, whose young actors play the roles, supported by members of the Plymouth Military Wives Choir and folk singer, Jim Causley.
Tickets are £7 and are available on the door, but as there’s limited space, it’s best to get your ticket in advance from Totnes Information Centre or by phoning 01803 866916.
This event will actually take place in the Community Space – St John’s Church which has been cleverly adapted so that it can be used for much more than just Church services. The Community Space is just along the road from the Tally Ho. You can find out more about Desert Island Discs by clicking on this link to the Littlehempston website.
Perhaps you’d like to drop into the Tally Ho before or after Out of Memorium ?
