This movable feast offers the perfect recipe for a great evening’s entertainment…… good food and professional theatre. The Moonstone Theatre Company stage a welcome return with An Evening at Café René, a tribute to the classic TV comedy ‘Allo ‘Allo.
The evening starts in the Bistro Tally Ho, where you will enjoy a sumptuous French main course. Action dictates the audience must flee to the safety of Café René in Littlehempston Church, where you will enjoy dessert plus hilarious theatre in the company of René, Edith his wife, Michelle from the Resistance, Herr Flick of the Gestapo and, of course, Crabtree, the hapless British Agent disguised as a Gendarme.
Tickets cost £25 per person, which includes the entertainments and dinner. Please book early to avoid disappointment – last year’s Murder Mystery with Moonstone was a sell-out. You can buy refreshments over the bar in the Tally Ho. At Café René you will find a variety of drinks available and you are welcome to bring your own wine for this part of the evening. (Your own wine may not be drunk in the Tally).
